In her series, Apertures, Véronique Gambier achieves striking simplicity by striving to produce the perfect shade of a single color.
"I use saturated color, geometric compositions, and fluid gesture to capture single, yet multi-faceted moments as they unfold. The paper becomes part of the medium as I integrate the white of the surface into the artwork.
