The History of the Jogger

Women's wear designer and cultural icon Norma Kamali was the first to incorporate sweatpant fabric into different silhouettes, like dresses, suits and jumpsuits. She reinvented the material by using it for ready to wear and bringing it into the fashion landscape.

In the late 90s, early 2000s, the rise of athleisure conflated the idea of athletic apparel and stylish essentials. Sweatpants were redesigned to be more fitted and tapered, giving them a greater versatility.
